Swim Week 2012 Recap!

It was quite an exciting week! The runway show turned out great this year. Here is a rundown of the events that took place down here on Miami Beach.

Thursday night was the Merecedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 kick-off party at The Raleigh. 

 Here we are selling to buyer's at The W hotel. 

On Friday Salon Allure hosted a runway show with multiple designers showing off their new collections.

"Miami Beach bikini designer Red Carter dishes on Miami Swim Fashion Week, being a designer in Miami and the future of the bikini. Carter was one of 15 designers presenting at the third annual Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, held this year from July 10-14 at the Raleigh Hotel."

It's Swim week 2012!

It's our favorite time of year again where we get to show our new 2012 Collection. It's the Merecdes- Benz Fashion Swim Week here in Miami! It's happening July 14th through July 18th at The Raleigh Hotel in South Beach. Five days full of outrageous parties, celebrity sightings and the lastest in swim wear. My newest collection includes all the lastest fashion trends like ruffles, ethnic prints and stripes. Keep checking the blog as we keep you posted on the lastest Swim Week news.

4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Let's get the party started with this cocktail recipe. Stay safe and enjoy the fireworks. 

Recipe for Guy Fieri's All-American Cocktail

Prep Time 10 min

Level Easy

Yield 1 drink

Ingredients

1 ounce watermelon schnapps

1 big splash cranberry juice

1 very thin slice jalapeno or serrano pepper

1 slice lemon

1 slice lime

1 1/2 ounces tequila

1/4 ounce blue curacao

1/2 ounce simple syrup

Watermelon wedge, for garnish (optional)

Directions

Mix the schnapps and cranberry juice in a shaker; pour into an ice-filled glass.

Muddle the jalapeno pepper, lemon and lime slices, tequila, blue curacao and simple syrup (to make a batch, dissolve sugar in equal parts hot water and chill) in the shaker. Slowly strain into the glass over the red layer. Garnish with watermelon, if desired.
