I am loving these bright new sports watches from Technomarine. The brand just did a full relaunch in September. Colette Paris will be the first retailer to carry the complete Cruise Sport collection. Each comes with interchangeable straps and are waterproof. Perfect for pairing with any Red Carter swimsuit!

SOHO Beach House Opens

The sexy and sophisticated SOHO Beach House has finally opened it's doors in Miami Beach. This is one of my favorite hang outs when I go to New York City, and now I have the pleasure of enjoying it here in my own backyard. You can find me relaxing here on any given weekend, or maybe even a week day here and there. Even better, Red Carter swimsuits are now available in their store. Hoping to optimize my relaxation time this weekend and soak up the sun before the winter weather creeps in. Hope to see you at the SOHO house for a cocktail this weekend, friends!

Tori Praver Swimwear

I wanted to introduce you to a fellow swimwear designer, Tori Praver, if you haven't already heard of her. Tori is a famous supermodel and also a dear friend of mine. She walked her first runway show years ago in one of my shows! Tori has started her own line of swimsuits since she has grown up surfing, living in Hawaii, and of course loving the beach. They incorporate great colors, fit, and function. Check out her website to see her suits, which are selling like crazy!

Paris!

In September I attended the fabulous tradeshow Mode City in Paris. It was great to meet with buyers, and also check out the latest fabrics and colors for the upcoming season. I did lots of vintage shopping and got some new inspiration for our Summer 2011 collection, as well as ate and drank some amazing food! Here are a few photos from my trip, with our global showroom director, Alexa Cahill.

Fall Colors

Happy Fall! Here in Miami we don't get to see the leaves change colors like all you lucky fashionistas up north. So in honor of color, here is a sneak peek at some of our fabricated fall colors from our new Resort 2011 Collection!

 

W South Beach

Since it is almost the weekend again, and the weather is finally turning cool in South Florida (Ok, it's not quite as hot and humid as usual), I wanted to share one of favorite places to grab an outdoor happy hour drink. The pool at the W Hotel in South Beach. The hotel is not only gorgeous and beautifully decorated, but the pool is even more to die for. Spacious cabanas under the palm trees, just steps from either the pool or beach. Oh, and it's close to the bar.  Drink specials start at 5pm. You know you need a break after sitting at a desk all week...see you there!

Glam Photoshoot

We recently did our photoshoot for the Glam 2011 Collection. We shot everything in a studio and built the dramatic set. The fabulous Billy Coleman shot the photos, and a special thanks to stylist Danny Santiago (he's styled for Sex and the City movies!) What do you think of our concept this year?
